Kicking off our Blue-Sky Thinking workshops

The NOVELL Redesign project reaches an important milestone on Monday with our first blue-sky thinking workshop session being held as part of Stage 1 of the project. This is an exciting milestone and is the first step in us reimagining what rehabilitation environments can be.  

Our Facilitation Manager, Dr Aaron Davis, has designed the workshop activities to help us step outside of what we already know, and to consider ‘what could be’. We had originally planned to undertake the workshop series face-to-face in Melbourne, but the COVID-19 restrictions gave us the opportunity to adjust our thinking and consider the new and exciting opportunities that come from a more distributed participation model. The game-based activities of the workshop sessions can stand alone, giving anyone, anywhere in the world, at any time, the ability to contribute to our knowledge building — a core part of the open participatory philosophy of the Living Lab.
