Literature Review Update

Gathering existing knowledge is a critical part of any project. We need to make sure that we’re aware of all the past research to help us understand how to improve the design of stroke rehabilitation environments and support the patients, families, and staff who spend time in rehabilitation facilities. In partnership with our wonderful project steering committee, Ruby Lipson-Smith and Luis Pflaumer have been working to review scientific journals from around the world to find evidence on how the built environment contributes positively or negatively to rehabilitation experiences and outcomes.

We hope to have the results of this literature review ready for publication in the near future – watch this space!
